The Kimberly Story - Mr. Hermanski was teaching in El Paso, Texas at a junior high called Walter Clarke Middle School. A student of his by the name of “Kimberly” went missing after her parents were murdered. Police suspected that she was the suspect, but could not find her. They searched her house, but did not find much to go on. This was the late 80’s or early 90’s, so forensic science had not yet gotten big. Anyway, Hermanski’s police friend by the name of “Johnny” suggested that they take another crack at the house using a blacklight to search for blood. The blacklight was just getting picked up by police departments. So, Hermanski, Johnny, and I believe two other officers, went to the house and searched, not finding much. However, when they went into the kitchen, Hermanksi said “the place lit up purple. There was blood everywhere. It was the most god-awful thing I have ever seen. They found four types of blood in the house, 3 belonged to humans, and the other was never determined.” So, the investigation got new light. However, they were still unable to find Kimberly. A few days went by, and Hermanski and Johnny were talking to each other, and Hermanski told Johnny that there was something about the kitchen scene that was bothering. He said there was an air vent in the kitchen that, when shone with the black light, had no blood around it, almost a perfect square of nothing. They go back, climb through the vent, and find Kimberly hiding inside. To make a very long story short, they sentenced Kimberly for the mother’s muder, but more strange, very strange, things were still going on.[SOURCE: http://yhoo.it/1oyDFUQ]
